Indonesia post issued a set of stamps to mark The lunar year of the Tiger. The tiger is the third sign in the cycle of the Chinese zodiac which consists of 12 animal signs. It is a sign of courage. The tiger is a natural born leader and symbolizes power, passion and daring.
Chinese New Year starts on the first day of the new moon at the beginning of the year. This year it begins on 14 February and ends on 2 February, 2011.
