Christmas 2010 – Italy


Italian post issued a set of two stamps of a lay and a religious as a part of Christmas celebration this year.

The lay depicts a snowy landscape and punctuated by stylized trees, a tramway that pulls the word Christmas.
The religious subject reproduces the painting Adoration of the Magi by Sandro Botticelli made around 1475 and kept in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
