International philatelic exhibitions have a long tradition in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: the first was held in 1952 and following that, others almost every 10 years since. The last international exhibition of this type in Luxembourg goes back to 1998 with the JUVALUX youth philatelic exhibition which exhibitors there at the time still fondly recall.

In this spirit, the Federation of Philatelic Societies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (FSPL) and P&TLuxembourg have the pleasure of announcing once again an international postage stamp exhibition from 28 April to 1 May 2011 at the “LuxExpo” exhibition centre in Luxembourg. This exhibition will interest postal administrations, stamp dealers and European collectors. It benefits from the patronage of the European Federation of Philatelic Associations (FEPA) as well as the recognition of the International Philately Federation (FIP). The organizers plan a rich program for this international exhibition in order to attract attendees from Luxembourg and neighboring areas to the LuxExpo halls.
