Archaeology II - Buried Treasure
The second issue in Jersey Post’s series entitled ‘Archaeology’ has been issued featuring various coins which form part of the hoard of 2500 Celtic coins and pieces of jewellery which were unearthed by a farmer on his land at Le Catillon in Grouville, Jersey in 1957. The coins are all on display at Jersey’s La Hougue Bie Museum.
